The holidays were here and gone. The year of 2012 is behind us and the year 2013 is ahead. We are in for a wild ride I’m afraid.
This years holidays were good. Thanks giving was fun. Nathans sister Elisabeth and her son, Cedric, came for thanksgiving and to surprise Nathans mom and dad for their 40th wedding anniversary. It was good company and good food and good times.
Christmas was spent in 3 different directions. Nate and Beth went to Michigan for a couple of days to spend it with her family. Nathan’s mom and dad went to New York state to see her dad and some siblings and to see his sister. Beth had to work on Christmas day.
New years wasn’t really something that we celebrate like the secular world. So we didn’t go out or anything. Just stayed at home and played games then went to bed at 12:01am!
We are getting all stocked up on a few items so we wont be with out. Beth needs to get more groceries. Caned items, corn, green beans, carrots, beats, and others.
We are hoping for a raised garden this spring and summer so we can do some canning for the winter. Beth has a lot to learn, but she can do it!
We hope to see you soon or at least to be on here soon again!
This is a more recent photo of Beth’s nephew Luke, brother Tyler and niece Hallie. They are such a joy!
